The Ugly Wait

She stepped in such a way,
Like a glittering path below the milky way.
She walked all around,
and my happiness like nowhere to be found.

Like a shooting star,
The presence blew by
and she disappeared in the dark,
Leaving nothing but just her mark.

And every night I sit on the roof,
With dreams lingering in open eyes,
Finding myself lost somewhere
Under the far stretched skies.

O beloved, fetch me back my life
and I would walk away,
with fist of memories
closed everyday !
